On Saturday PM we launched alongside 39 other balloons with
3 passenger friends of our Vermont friend Nattily. One of them was an 89 year
young woman that could probably out run us. after launch we flew south over the
IBM building. The completion task was a "Hare & Hound". We made it to the target
area, but because of a balloon that hovered over the target for a very long time
we could only get within 15 feet, that gave us about 12th place. After a nice
ride we packed up in a professional building parking lot and rushed back to the
field to get setup for the glow where we used the balloon glow as lighting for
or passengers Champaign celebration scene. Thanks again to Amy for taking
pictures for us on this flight too. Cindy, Allison, Luke, Amy and Vermont Justin
crewed for the flight and Glow.
