On Sunday AM we had no scheduled festival passengers so we
invited or friend Nattily and her husband to join Cindy and I in the basket for
a fun flight. Nattily took a ride with us here last year at he festival and came
to the event to see us again this year. I think they'll be back next year too.
About 35 balloons launched into the most perfect weather for flying. Low level
winds were heading west towards the airport so we climbed to 2800 feet and flew
south until we were over the IBM building and then dropped down to about 500
feet which took us Southwest into Williston. After crossing the river we saw the
target and lined up for a drop that got us into 4th place and finialy in the
money. We landed on a church lawn next to a road and gave some spectators a few
tether rides. We returned to the launch field and had our post flight
calibration. Allison and Vermont Justin crewed for the flight.
