AM Flight in the Farmington Valley. Launching from Spring
Street in Southington, CT and landing in a School on Norton Street in Berlin,
CT. Jim gave Brian and instruction flight and took Alex K. on his first ever Hot
Air Balloon Flight. Flight Statistics - logged 1.3 hr hot, 1.1 in the
air, 1.0 of instruction to Brian, covering 8.6 miles, 7 miles as the crow flies
to our landing in Berlin, CT. Maximum altitude was 1,500 feet, max temperature
220F, and burned 22.6 gal of propane.
