January Fly-out of the Connecticut Lighter
Than Air Society
Each year, on the first weekend of the new year, the
Connecticut Lighter Than Air Society club gets together for the first Hot Air
Balloon Fly-out of the year in central Connecticut. Anywhere from 2 - 15 balloon
pilots and crews show up for the flight. Winter flying can be an especially
beautiful ride, but dress warm. Or, come out and watch the launch from the
warmth of your car.
North Conway New Hampshire -
Winter Fest
North Conway, NH has hosted a winter fly-out in past in
the Mount Washington Valley. Our flights in this area are the most memorable
winter flight we have done. (after this Festival we started
taking alot of pictures on every flight) Mount Washington is in the
background in many of these pictures.
