December 4, 2004 - Saturday - AM Flight & Glow
On the Third day we found the Leon "Box" working just
fine. Our passengers were the sons of our sooner COFOCE and Cindy. We traveled
low out over the reservoir, brushing the trees on an island, over a many boats
and then climbed to 1200 AGL and got our 180 turn back to the North end of the
park. We traveled North past the launch field and over some rough terrain.
(don't go brushing through these trees and cactus). We landed on the north end
of the park along the access road with our crew and sponsor waiting. After
tethering some sponsors and family, handing out candy to the local people,
letting people get a picture next to and in the balloon basket, they all helped
us pack up. Then off to a nice breakfast and the propane line.
