A birthday flight in a Hot Air Balloon for Jennifer with friend Tiffany. This was a magnificent Fall morning to drifted over the country side with 3 other Hot Air Balloons and there crews. We all departed from a baseball field in Southington, CT and flew southeast into Cheshire. After takeoff we could see the brilliant mix of fall colors all around us, as the fall foliage display was almost at it's peek. From our highest altitude of 2,300 feet we could just make out the shoreline of Long Island Sound. Later we flew just above the tree tops and picked some colorful leaves from the tree tops. All 4 balloons landed in a hay field of a good friend, and fellow Hot Air Balloon pilot. After the flight we enjoyed our traditional champagne toast and told stories of other flights we've had. Our flight covered 7.3 miles in 1 hour and 3 minuets. Our highest altitude was 2,300 feet above seal level and our lowest altitude was about 12 feet below the tree tops as we flew over a pumpkin field.
