Sunday morning pilots arrived on the field during a rain shower, and the
forecast was for more rain showers and quick southerly winds, although the
surface conditions were calm and the sun finally came out after sunrise. Some
pilots set up and gave tethered balloon rides and demonstrations to the
spectators and news crews. We helped the Re-Max crew get set up and visited
other crews with Yvonne (the GEB dog Cindy is training) (watch for other pictures to be posted here as other pilots
contributed pictures to this page) As you'll see we had more fun fooling around
then doing any flying.
