Plainville, CT Balloon Festival, Sunday Morning - About 10
balloons inflated and launched at Sunrise. Many pilots landed back on the launch
field once or twice, but the variable winds changed soon and they flew off to
the north, northwest. Our balloon and crew watched the launch from the ground
and then set up the balloon and tethered on the ground next to the Re/Max
balloon. Brian did the inflation and most of the tethering, and Dave got some
valuable tethering time in before his pilot flight test later next month.
Yvonne, or released guiding eye dog, also took a tethered
ride at the festival.
