December - February we will fly passengers by special

Winter Flying in a Hot Air Balloon
offers some unique views and adventure. Many people are surprised that it
actually gets warmer as we go up. Remember we are a body of air floating in a
body of air, so there is no wind to chill you. Once we climb up to altitude, and
the sun is shining on us, the suns radiant heat will warm us along with heat
from our
burners. We have flown at 11,800 feet in Park City, UT in just a long sleeve
shirt and were very comfortable, an exception for sure however. We recommend for
all winter Hot Air Balloon flights you come dressed as if you were going to take a
seasonal walk on a park trail. Parka, gloves, hat and snow boots will be a must
for everyone.
